
Hanna grew up in Belleville, Ontario and played Junior Hockey in Whitby for the Whitby Jr Wolves.
Hanna grew up working at a gym called One to One Fitness in Belleville, where she found her passion for personal training.
She represented Team Canada at the 2013 U18 World Championships where she won gold. She then went on to play four years at Cornell University, where she was Ivy League Rookie of the Year in 2014 and Ivy League Player of the Year in 2017.
While attending Cornell University, Hanna minored in nutritional science. She represented Team Canada at the Nation’s Cup in Germany where they won gold as well. After graduation she played professionally in China for two seasons with the Kunlun Redstar and is now a member of the PWHPA in Calgary.
