SDR ACADEMY GOES TO
Sweden
July, 2027 | Stockholm, Sweden
Available to Males & Females
Take your game to one of the best hockey nations in the world. SDR Academy is bringing elite on-ice and off-ice development and an unforgettable cultural experience to Stockholm. NCAA Division I coaches and a PWHL coach will be on the bench. This is where our athletes grow as players and as people.

A Hockey Experience Like No Other
SDR Academy is taking its athletes across the world for elite development in Stockholm, one of the most respected hockey nations on the planet. This is more than a training camp. It is a chance for our players to test themselves in a new environment, compete against Swedish teams, and grow their game alongside high-level coaching.
But the experience goes far beyond the rink. Players and families will explore one of the world's most beautiful cities, experience Swedish culture, and build memories together that last long after the final whistle. From the ice to the streets of Stockholm, this is where passion meets opportunity on the world stage.

Who Is Coaching
Athletes will be joined by coaches and figures from across the hockey world including NCAA Division I coaches, a PWHL coach, Swedish Federation coaches, and coaches with a variety of professional and collegiate backgrounds.
This is not a traditional camp setting. These are people who are actively playing, coaching, and recruiting at the highest levels of the game, present throughout the week and available to our athletes in a way that is hard to replicate anywhere else.
On-Ice Development
Morning sessions focus on individual skills like skating, puck control, protection, and positioning. Afternoon full-ice sessions build on speed, transition, decision-making, and hockey IQ. Fast, modern, game-focused training led by an experienced high-level coach.
Games & Competition
Each team will play approximately 2 to 3 exhibition games against Swedish opponents, played in the standard Swedish youth format of 2 x 20-minute periods. Joint practices with local Swedish teams may also be included (not yet confirmed).
Off-Ice & Mental Performance
Development that goes beyond the rink. Athletes will take part in off-ice training to build the full athlete, along with Mental Performance sessions adapted to each age group to sharpen focus, confidence, and mindset.
The Stockholm Experience
Time to explore the city and bond as a team and as families, with possible visits to Gamla Stan (Old Town), the Vasa Museum, the Stockholm archipelago, and Gröna Lund. A possible visit to a Swedish National Team environment is also being explored (not yet confirmed).

An Experience That Goes Beyond Hockey
This is a rare chance for our athletes to train, compete, and grow in one of the best hockey nations in the world. Elite on-ice and off-ice development. Mental Performance work to build the full athlete. Real games against Swedish teams. And time to explore Stockholm and create memories together as players and families.
From the ice to the streets of Stockholm, this is where passion meets opportunity on the world stage. It is more than a trip. It is a step forward in every athlete's journey.
