Training Schedule
The training schedule is designed to fit around the athlete’s academic and minor hockey team commitments, providing flexibility and focus on both individual and team development.

2 on-ice sessions and 1 off-ice session per week, or

2 off-ice sessions and 1 dryland session per week (held before or during school hours).

3 on-ice sessions and 2 off-ice sessions per week, or

2 on-ice sessions and 3 off-ice sessions per week, scheduled during or after school hours.

Off-ice sessions include workouts, mobility training, recovery sessions, and classroom sessions for mental and tactical learning.
Application Process
To join this prestigious program, applicants must complete both the SDR Academy and National Sport School application processes. Interviews are held to ensure each athlete's suitability, and decisions are based on a combination of athletic potential and academic commitment.
