The SDR Female Scouting Summit is a four-day, application-based recruitment event held annually. It is the only event of its kind in Western Canada where elite female hockey players compete in true game environments while scouts from NCAA Division I, NCAA Division III, U Sports, and elite prep schools evaluate them live from the bench. This is a structured, high-intensity event designed to get you seen by the programs that matter and give you real, actionable feedback on where your game stands.

Getting recruited for female college hockey is competitive. There are roughly 100 NCAA programs and dozens of U Sports programs across Canada, and coaches are actively attending showcases and events to find their next athletes. Being in the right room at the right time makes the difference.
The SDR Female Scouting Summit puts you in that room. With scouts from NCAA Division I, Division III, U Sports, and elite prep schools all attending, athletes get exposure to multiple programs in a single weekend. The on-bench format means scouts are watching every shift, not just the ones that happen to catch their eye from the stands.
Athletes who have come through the Summit have gone on to connect with Cornell, Yale, UBC, and programs across North America.
